Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Emotional Problems Don'T Mean Shit by Dan Attoe for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,449.23). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Dan Attoe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Complicated Animals in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,613.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Emotional Problems Don'T Mean Shit von Dan Attoe für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.449,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dan Attoe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Complicated Animals im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.613,14).
