Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art | New York, which included the work Emotional Problems Don't Mean Shit by Dan Attoe. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,276.00 (€ 2,894.50). Admittedly, works by Dan Attoe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Complicated Animals in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,613.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Emotional Problems Don't Mean Shit von Dan Attoe zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.276,00 (€ 2.894,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dan Attoe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Complicated Animals im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.613,14).
