Waterfall / kegger Dan Attoe 2011 I pulled into the parking lot at Multnomah Falls in Oregon late at night to admire the falls in the dark and to take a break from driving. There were other people there at that late hour, and they seemed like they were there at night often.' on the reverse

Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Waterfall by Dan Attoe was auctioned at Phillips in 19 - in September this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 3,810.00 (€ 3,810.00). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dan Attoe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Complicated Animals, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,613.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Waterfall von Dan Attoe im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 19 - versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 3.810,00 (€ 3.810,00) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dan Attoe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Complicated Animals beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.613,14) versteigert wurde.
