Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Continuous Fragment by Damián Ortega. The price achieved of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 59,017.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Damián Ortega have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work Auto construcción, caja de velocidades was auctioned for USD 100,000.00 (€ 76,994.15).

Im Juni 2019 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Continuous Fragment von Damián Ortega zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 59.017,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Damián Ortega konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2013 die Arbeit Auto construcción, caja de velocidades für USD 100.000,00 (€ 76.994,15) versteigert.
