Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2011 Christies in New York held the auction First OpenPost-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work OH...MY...GOD! by Damian Loeb. The price achieved of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,870.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Admittedly, works by Damian Loeb have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vertigo in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 147,605.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First OpenPost-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit OH...MY...GOD! von Damian Loeb zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.870,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Damian Loeb auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vertigo im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 147.605,95).
