Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work D-Mrnsc by Damian Loeb for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,694.47). This price was achieved in the auction Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damian Loeb achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vertigo in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 147,605.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit D-Mrnsc von Damian Loeb für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.694,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Damian Loeb erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vertigo im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 147.605,95).
