Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Damian Loeb achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in August 2020. In the First Open auction, the work Enhance 34 to 36 (Center In, Pull Back, Stop) sold for USD 52,500.00 (€ 43,984.58) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Damian Loeb - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vertigo, which sold at auction in May 2012 for USD 182,500.00 (€ 147,605.95).

In der Auktion First Open wurde die Arbeit Enhance 34 to 36 (Center In, Pull Back, Stop) für USD 52.500,00 (€ 43.984,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Damian Loeb mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vertigo beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für USD 182.500,00 (€ 147.605,95) versteigert wurde.
