Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work D-Crnsc by Damian Loeb for USD 2,250.00 (€ 2,017.03). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damian Loeb achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vertigo in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 147,605.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit D-Crnsc von Damian Loeb für USD 2.250,00 (€ 2.017,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Damian Loeb erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vertigo im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 147.605,95).
