Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction Post War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Study H.M. by Daan van Golden. The price achieved of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 80,623.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daan van Golden - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front), which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 266,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study H.M. von Daan van Golden zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 80.623,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Daan van Golden mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front) beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 266.500,00 versteigert wurde.
