Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Day Sale, which included the work Celuy Quy Fut Pris III/IV by Daan van Golden. The price achieved of EUR 81,900.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daan van Golden - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front), which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 266,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Celuy Quy Fut Pris III/IV von Daan van Golden zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 81.900,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Daan van Golden mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front) beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 266.500,00 versteigert wurde.
