Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Heerenlux by Daan van Golden. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,097.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daan van Golden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front) in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 266,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Heerenlux von Daan van Golden zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.097,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daan van Golden erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 266.500,00.
