Auction result well in line with expectations
The work B.B. by Daan van Golden was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2020. The price achieved of EUR 5,625.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daan van Golden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front) in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 266,500.00.

Die Arbeit B.B. von Daan van Golden wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.625,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daan van Golden erzielen.
