Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Díptico Vi by Cristina Iglesias was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2013. The auction ended at the price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,398.83), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cristina Iglesias - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sin título, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 42,000.00.

Die Arbeit Díptico Vi von Cristina Iglesias kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.398,83) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Cristina Iglesias mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sin título beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 42.000,00 versteigert wurde.
