In January 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art, which included the work A Bouquet Of Flowers With A Bird'S Nest by Cornelis van Spaendonck. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,463.81) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cornelis van Spaendonck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Flower Still Life With Roses, Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In A Vase in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 114,000.00.

Im Januar 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Bouquet Of Flowers With A Bird'S Nest von Cornelis van Spaendonck zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 18.463,81) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornelis van Spaendonck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Flower Still Life With Roses, Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In A Vase im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 114.000,00.
