In January 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life Of Flowers In A Glass Vase With Honeysuckle, Pomegranates And Grapes, All On A Marble Ledge by Cornelis van Spaendonck for USD 118,750.00 (€ 110,014.82). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 160,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Cornelis van Spaendonck have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2006 by the work A Flower Still Life With Roses, Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In A Vase at EUR 114,000.00.
