Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Sothebys in London held the auction Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries, which included the work A bouquet of flowers, including a rose and tulip by Cornelis van Spaendonck. The price achieved of GBP 4,788.00 (€ 5,717.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis van Spaendonck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Flower Still Life With Roses, Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In A Vase in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 114,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries durch, in der auch die Arbeit A bouquet of flowers, including a rose and tulip von Cornelis van Spaendonck zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.788,00 (€ 5.717,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis van Spaendonck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Flower Still Life With Roses, Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In A Vase im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 114.000,00.
