In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Alter Ego (Mutiny) by Cornelia Parker. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 32,500.00 (€ 46,074.08), 63% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Alter Ego (Mutiny) the most expensive artwork by Cornelia Parker that we have observed at auctions so far.
