This artwork by Cornelia Parker achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in March last year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Fox Talbot's Articles of Glass (all that are left) sold for GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,228.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Cornelia Parker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alter Ego (Mutiny) in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 46,074.08).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Cornelia Parker erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Fox Talbot's Articles of Glass (all that are left) für GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.228,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornelia Parker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alter Ego (Mutiny) im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 46.074,08).
