Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Conrad Kiesel could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work The yellow dress changed hands for EUR 2,987.50 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conrad Kiesel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Mandolin Player in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 106,050.00 (€ 150,205.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Conrad Kiesel konnte im September 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wechselte die Arbeit The yellow dress für EUR 2.987,50 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Conrad Kiesel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Mandolin Player im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.050,00 (€ 150.205,93).
