A top price for Conrad Kiesel - as previously expected
The work The Mandolin Player by Conrad Kiesel was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2003. The price achieved of GBP 106,050.00 (€ 150,205.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Mandolin Player is the most expensive artwork by Conrad Kiesel that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit The Mandolin Player von Conrad Kiesel kam im Dezember 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 106.050,00 (€ 150.205,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Mandolin Player das teuerste Kunstwerk von Conrad Kiesel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
