It achieved a price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 32,459.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kwang Young Chun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aggregation 07-De245, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 128,943.11).

Die Arbeit Aggregation 11 - Dec 090 (Red) von Kwang Young Chun wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 32.459,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Für andere Arbeiten von Kwang Young Chun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aggregation 07-De245 beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 128.943,11) versteigert wurde.
