A top price for Chuck Connelly - as previously expected
In March 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary, which included this untitled work by Chuck Connelly. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,241.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Chuck Connelly that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Chuck Connelly zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.241,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chuck Connelly, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
