Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Chuck Connelly could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open: Summer Edition auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,411.68) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chuck Connelly - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2009 for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,241.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chuck Connelly konnte im Juli 2013 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open: Summer Edition wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.411,68) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chuck Connelly mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2009 für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.241,76) versteigert wurde.
