The work Four Skulls by Christopher Makos was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,802.02), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Christopher Makos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Andy Warhol (Altered Image) in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 24,194.67).

Die Arbeit Four Skulls von Christopher Makos kam im März 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.802,02) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christopher Makos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Andy Warhol (Altered Image) im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 24.194,67).
