The work Andy Warhol (Altered Image) by Christopher Makos was sold in the Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness auction at Sothebys in London in March 2015. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 24,194.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Andy Warhol (Altered Image) is the most expensive artwork by Christopher Makos that we have observed at auctions so far.
