Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four Prints by the Artist by Christopher Brown was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2018. The price achieved of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,491.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Christopher Brown have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Film Study in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 46,000.00 (€ 32,351.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Four Prints by the Artist von Christopher Brown kam im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.491,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christopher Brown auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Film Study im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.000,00 (€ 32.351,08).
