Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scaredy Cat #21 by Christian Holstad was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,265.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Christian Holstad have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maid's Chariot in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 34,800.00 (€ 25,867.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scaredy Cat #21 von Christian Holstad wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.265,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Holstad auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maid's Chariot im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 34.800,00 (€ 25.867,84).
