Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Unknown by Christian Friedrich Zincke was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2010. It achieved a price of GBP 937.50 (€ 1,127.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Friedrich Zincke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four important enamel miniatures set in a Fine George II Enamel and Gold Portrait Box with hinged lid and base, the concave sides chased with reeded c-scrolls and shellwork on a frosted gold ground and enamelled en basse-taille with leaves in translu in April 2002 with an auction result of GBP 56,400.00 (
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Christian Friedrich Zincke kam im Juli 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 937,50 (€ 1.127,24) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Friedrich Zincke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four important enamel miniatures set in a Fine George II Enamel and Gold Portrait Box with hinged lid and base, the concave sides chased with reeded c-scrolls and shellwork on a frosted gold ground and enamelled en basse-taille with leaves in translu im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.400,00 (€ 91.253,72).
