A top price for Christian Friedrich Zincke
In April 2002 Christies in London held the auction The Dr Anton C.R.Dreesmann Collection Gold Boxes, Objects of, which included the work Four important enamel miniatures set in a Fine George II Enamel and Gold Portrait Box with hinged lid and base, the concave sides chased with reeded c-scrolls and shellwork on a frosted gold ground and enamelled en basse-taille with leaves in translu by Christian Friedrich Zincke.
