Sold at the upper estimate price
In September 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Instant Crush by Chris Succo. The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,906.56), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chris Succo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Everything In It's Right Place (BKNP) in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 61,795.38).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im September 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Instant Crush von Chris Succo zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.906,56) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris Succo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Everything In It's Right Place (BKNP) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 45.000,00 (€ 61.795,38).
