In July 2020 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work GO YOUR OWN WAY by Chris Succo. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,851.38), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Chris Succo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Everything In It's Right Place (BKNP) in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 61,795.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit GO YOUR OWN WAY von Chris Succo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.851,38) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris Succo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Everything In It's Right Place (BKNP) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 45.000,00 (€ 61.795,38).
