Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Chris Succo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in July this year. In the New Now auction, the work I DON'T BULLSHIT WHEN I'M WHISPERING NYP sold for GBP 13,970.00 (€ 16,298.76) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris Succo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Everything In It's Right Place (BKNP), which sold at auction in April 2015 for GBP 45,000.00 (€ 61,795.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chris Succo erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit I DON'T BULLSHIT WHEN I'M WHISPERING NYP für GBP 13.970,00 (€ 16.298,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chris Succo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Everything In It's Right Place (BKNP) beobachtet, die im April 2015 für GBP 45.000,00 (€ 61.795,38) versteigert wurde.
