The work Green(Painted Approximately In 2000S) by Qiu Yacai was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 495,600.00 (€ 55,805.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qiu Yacai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Model(Painted In 1993), which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 1,534,000.00 (€ 168,834.82).

Die Arbeit Green(Painted Approximately In 2000S) von Qiu Yacai wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 495.600,00 (€ 55.805,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Für andere Arbeiten von Qiu Yacai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Model(Painted In 1993) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 1.534.000,00 (€ 168.834,82) versteigert wurde.
