Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gentleman by Qiu Yacai was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 188,800.00 (€ 19,921.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qiu Yacai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Model(Painted In 1993) in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,534,000.00 (€ 168,834.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gentleman von Qiu Yacai kam im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 188.800,00 (€ 19.921,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qiu Yacai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Model(Painted In 1993) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.534.000,00 (€ 168.834,82).
