Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2001 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction CONTEMPORARY CHINESE OIL PAINTINGS, which included the work Women in the Fishing Village by Chen Yiming. The price achieved of HKD 32,900.00 (€ 4,690.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Yiming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Canary in June 2014 with an auction result of CNY 1,770,000.00 (€ 208,417.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2001 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion CONTEMPORARY CHINESE OIL PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Women in the Fishing Village von Chen Yiming zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 32.900,00 (€ 4.690,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Yiming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Canary im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.770.000,00 (€ 208.417,82).
