Sold at the upper estimate price
In July 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Contemporary Edition, which included the work Half Pint (Gold) by Charming Baker. The auction ended at the price of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,695.42), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charming Baker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nine works: i) All I Want Can Only Be Accomplished By Ignoring What You Need (black); ii) All I Want Is For Times To Change Until I Hit Some Good Ones (black); iii) All I Want Is For You Not To Speak Unless You Can Improve On The Silence (black); iv) in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 58,164.4
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Contemporary Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Half Pint (Gold) von Charming Baker zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.695,42) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charming Baker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nine works: i) All I Want Can Only Be Accomplished By Ignoring What You Need (black); ii) All I Want Is For Times To Change Until I Hit Some Good Ones (black); iii) All I Want Is For You Not To Speak Unless You Can Improve On The Silence (black); iv) im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 58.164,45).
