Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session, which included the work Untitled (L.S. #8) by Charline von Heyl. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,900.00 (€ 15,453.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charline von Heyl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dumka in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 300,000.00 (€ 269,082.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (L.S. #8) von Charline von Heyl zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 15.453,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charline von Heyl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dumka im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 300.000,00 (€ 269.082,43).
