Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Long Night by Charline von Heyl was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 106,893.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charline von Heyl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dumka, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 300,000.00 (€ 269,082.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Long Night von Charline von Heyl kam im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 106.893,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Charline von Heyl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dumka beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 300.000,00 (€ 269.082,43) versteigert wurde.
