Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition by César Domela was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2011. It achieved a price of EUR 6,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by César Domela achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Composition Néoplastique in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 531,199.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition von César Domela wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von César Domela erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Composition Néoplastique im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.500,00 (€ 531.199,15).
