This work without title by Cecily Brown was auctioned at Phillips in London in January this year. It achieved a price of GBP 88,200.00 (€ 100,108.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecily Brown achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (The Beautiful and Damned) in May this year with an auction result of USD 6,705,000.00 (€ 6,293,410.93).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cecily Brown kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 88.200,00 (€ 100.108,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecily Brown erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (The Beautiful and Damned) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.705.000,00 (€ 6.293.410,93).
