In April 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Scuba Diver by Carole Feuerman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 55,000.00 (€ 35,328.88), 57% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carole Feuerman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mona Lisa sold at auction in September 2014 with the realized price of USD 87,500.00 (€ 69,290.47).

Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scuba Diver von Carole Feuerman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 35.328,88) und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Carole Feuerman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mona Lisa im September 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 69.290,47).
