The work Miniature Serena II by Carole Feuerman was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in New York in November 2014. It achieved a price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,089.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carole Feuerman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mona Lisa, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 69,290.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Miniature Serena II von Carole Feuerman wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.089,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Carole Feuerman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mona Lisa beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 69.290,47) versteigert wurde.
