Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman by Carol Bove was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2017. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,347.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carol Bove achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Lovers in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 308,000.00 (€ 265,014.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman von Carol Bove kam im März 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.347,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carol Bove erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Lovers im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 308.000,00 (€ 265.014,63).
