The work Thought Forms by Carlos Alfonzo was auctioned at Phillips in New York in December 2020. It achieved a price of USD 138,600.00 (€ 113,327.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlos Alfonzo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Water Seeds, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 350,000.00 (€ 313,929.50).

Die Arbeit Thought Forms von Carlos Alfonzo kam im Dezember 2020 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 113.327,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73%. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlos Alfonzo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Water Seeds beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 350.000,00 (€ 313.929,50) versteigert wurde.
