A top price for Carlos Alfonzo
This artwork by Carlos Alfonzo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2019. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Water Seeds sold for USD 350,000.00 (€ 313,929.50) - well above the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00. This high result makes Water Seeds the most expensive artwork by Carlos Alfonzo that we have observed at auctions so far.
