Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carlos Alfonzo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2021. In the Latin American Art Online auction, the work without title sold for USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,750.51) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlos Alfonzo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Water Seeds in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 350,000.00 (€ 313,929.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlos Alfonzo erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art Online wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 17.500,00 (€ 14.750,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlos Alfonzo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Water Seeds im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 350.000,00 (€ 313.929,50).
