Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Interior by Carl Vilhelm Holsøe for SEK 280,000.00 (€ 26,775.89). This price was achieved in the auction Important Spring Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 300,000.00 – 350,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Carl Vilhelm Holsøe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Artist's Wife sitting at a Window in a sunlit Room in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 167,000.00 (€ 151,240.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Interior von Carl Vilhelm Holsøe für SEK 280.000,00 (€ 26.775,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 300.000,00 – 350.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Vilhelm Holsøe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Artist's Wife sitting at a Window in a sunlit Room im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 167.000,00 (€ 151.240,72).
