Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Interior with cello by Carl Vilhelm Holsøe for SEK 120,000.00 (€ 11,084.15). This price was achieved in the auction Important Spring Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 150,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Vilhelm Holsøe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Artist's Wife sitting at a Window in a sunlit Room in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 167,000.00 (€ 151,240.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Interior with cello von Carl Vilhelm Holsøe für SEK 120.000,00 (€ 11.084,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Vilhelm Holsøe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Artist's Wife sitting at a Window in a sunlit Room im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 167.000,00 (€ 151.240,72).
