In December this year Bukowski held the auction Important Winter Sale, which included the work Interior with seated woman by the window by Carl Vilhelm Holsøe. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 240,000.00 (€ 21,587.42), 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Carl Vilhelm Holsøe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Artist's Wife sitting at a Window in a sunlit Room in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 167,000.00 (€ 151,240.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bukowski die Auktion Important Winter Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Interior with seated woman by the window von Carl Vilhelm Holsøe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 240.000,00 (€ 21.587,42) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Vilhelm Holsøe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Artist's Wife sitting at a Window in a sunlit Room im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 167.000,00 (€ 151.240,72).
