Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Winter Sale, which included the work Interior with the artist's wife by Carl Vilhelm Holsøe. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 90,000.00 (€ 8,778.94). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Vilhelm Holsøe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Artist's Wife sitting at a Window in a sunlit Room in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 167,000.00 (€ 151,240.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Winter Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Interior with the artist's wife von Carl Vilhelm Holsøe zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 90.000,00 (€ 8.778,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Vilhelm Holsøe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Artist's Wife sitting at a Window in a sunlit Room im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 167.000,00 (€ 151.240,72).
